Our motto is ‘Playing together, learning together, growing together.’ Because playing, learning, and growing are things you do together. For young children, this happens through play. For older children, we often use teaching methods that give students pleasure in learning. At IKC De Kasteeltuyn, we believe that collaborating with one another is the key to high-quality and engaged education.

With children
We think learning to work together is just as important as working independently. The children interact not only with the teacher, but also with each other. By thinking and talking about lessons together, looking for solutions and helping each other, they learn to “learn” and work together.
With parents
You as a parent are our most important partner in providing a good education. Together with you, we look for and find the right way through which your child learns optimally. For example, the three development meetings are a time when child, teacher and parents come together to talk about the child’s broad development. In addition, parents can meet every Wednesday morning in the parent room, where a speaker is present who discusses a current topic.
With the team
The team of IKC De Kasteeltuyn together faces the fine task of giving all children the best possible education. The team members are eager to learn and keep abreast of the latest developments in education. Parents like the fact that the teachers are involved with their students and the family from which they come.
With the integral child center (IKC)
IKC De Kasteeltuyn offers children from 0 to 13 years a total package in the field of education, care, development and leisure. There is intensive cooperation between education and gro-up childcare. As one team we create a challenging and continuous development line for our children.
